Vines minus their fruit






I always think the vines look a little sad after they've been picked -- gaping holes where there were thick, heavy bunches of grapes just days before.




But, while the vines do look a little barren up-close, from a distance the fields display these gorgeous, vibrant fall colors in shades of yellow, orange, red and brown. It's really an incredible time to drive through the wine country and drink it all in...
